The 2026 Trofeo Lancia season opened on the iconic roads of Garfagnana with the 49th edition of Rally Il Ciocco & Valle del Serchio, one of the most demanding and selective events on the Italian rally calendar. Across two intense days of competition, featuring night stages and constantly changing conditions, crews and cars faced a true early-season test of speed, consistency and endurance.

The event marked a historic moment for Lancia, as Andrea Crugnola and co- driver Luca Beltrame secured the brand's return to overall victory in the Italian Rally Championship aboard the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale prepared by FPF Sport.

Rally II Ciocco also confirmed the competitiveness of the new Ypsilon HF Racing Rally6, with Lorenzo Verasco delivering a solid and promising performance throughout the weekend.

At the same time, the Trofeo Lancia made an immediate impact on the championship, accounting for 27% of the event's total entries and reinforcing the growing relevance of the one-make series within the CIAR landscape.
